History

In 1957, our founders Richard Kane and Bernie Marden entered the world of advertising with a collective passion for creating and developing the best marketing and branding ideas available for their clients. Not long after, Kane bought out Marden and would soon become one of the most innovative leaders of corporate promotions and contests in the United States working with small mom-and-pop shops to some of the most recognizable global brands.  Among his early accomplishments were “Put a Tiger in your Tank”, “Tigerino”, and “Tigerama” in the 1960’s. And, also of note, he was instrumental in developing one of the first collect and win games for Dunkin Donuts.

We’re deeply proud of our company’s heritage, particularly our passionate founder who loved to travel in some colorful and interesting circles, including being on the Board of Governors for the famous Friars Club (where the company often hosted their holiday parties) and receiving the very prestigious Friar of the Year award. Mr. Kane passed his passion and creativity on to his daughter Cindi Kane-Nowinsky. And, as the Owner of Marden-Kane, she has honored her father’s memory and vision, by keeping his dream alive.

Our reputation for innovative sweepstakes and contest promotions continues to help us stand apart, leading the industry with unrivaled professionalism, integrity, and innovation. Don’t let the number of years we’ve been in business define us or limit us, rather it is our positive and creative mindset that determines what we can achieve.

Our original mission statement, one we inherited from our creative and prolific founder, is something that inspires us to this very day: “Aspire to be the best, no matter how small or large the task”.

Marden-Kane:
Innovating Throughout History

Instead of saying “no” to our clients, we say “What if…?” It’s that spirit of collaboration and innovation that led us to develop some of the most groundbreaking ideas in our industry.
